Is there any computer that reads all cds? I need an expert?

I was thinking about getting a computer and all of them read different formats of cds and dvds
I would like to know if there is any software or other computer out there that reads all the different formats of the cds.
I REALLY need a computer that reads those cds, because i made a cd that has songs on it and my friend wanted that cd so i gave it to her and it didnt work because it couldnt read it
anyways i would like to know what computer reads all of the formats of cds

if theres any software that makes your computer read all cds and dvds

If you have a CD and a DVD rom they will read every kind of media between the two of them. However. You will need certain software programs to read some media. Also, I know from experience, that it happens that one disk written on one computer may still not read on another computer. You can purchase a CD/DVD RW and it will read and write any disk. But there still may be the problem of reading between computers.

All computers have same type of CD/DVD drives. They are all supposed to read every known kind of CD/DVD media unless they are damaged.
What you need to figure out is not which computer can but how YOU can.
First question from me: What did your friend try to play the CD in? You have not mentioned.
Another Q: What did YOU use to burn the songs on the CD.

Sometimes solutions are at hand. So if you work with me I might be able to save you the trouble of finding that god-of-a-computer that can read ALL AND your CDs but no one else can read them.

it depends on which format the cds are in
i have a program that allows u to view and listen ALL FORMATS
it's a codec from www.hotget.com
when you install it the program it installs is windows media player 2
very simple operate, u can open devices, cds, and files
