Like Paris Hilton type girls, they only get the dog to carry it like a purse, why??

Because some people are idiots who wouldn't know how to take care of a dog anymore than they would know how to come in out of the rain. Those dogs should probably be removed. Maybe they have dog nannies that actually make sure they get fed and go to the vet.

Well, i'm sure people do it because little dogs are really cute. But, really, I think that Paris's dog must really have a good life... Think of all the nice fluffly beds it must have...
But... some girls are just dumb.

Because they think its a kind gesture to have a dog live in the purse, it's gets all the makeup it wants.

i think maybe to get attention. people like to stop and say hi to dogs and if you are holding a cute one, naturally people will want to say hi and pat it. it's not at all fair to the pets, though, to be used like that.

im not absolutley sure but i think maybe the trend was started as a way to have animals as an accesory without making a coat out of it.

Ya i knooo its sooo bad...its kinda like animal abuse sorta...y cant they try bracelets and othr things and keep the dogs as pleasure---not fashion

I have no clue but it is a cruel and unusual treatment of their pet such people should not be allowed to have pets.
