Anybody know what could be causing this?

Anybody what could be causing this? Why would it affect both, the TV and the computer and why do I hear it thru the computer speakers?

Keep your computer away from microwave, radio frequency devices (wireless phones, wireless remote, wireless duh etc.).
Also make sure your phone line is not entangled with other cabling that may cause the interference. Check for loose connections on end-points of not only your phone line but your computer as well. make sure they are secure and tightly connected. Loose connections can cause weird things.

you need to call your fone company, and tell them to clean up their fone lines.
every time that fone line clatters rattles or what not, the computer sees it as jibberish, and hangs up
