I have been working for the same place for almost 10 years and in the same job redundant job for 6 of those years. The best thing for me when I don't want to be there is to chat with my co-workers or put head phones on and listen to some of my favorite music. If that still doesn't work then I try to constantly change what I am doing that day instead of doing all of 1 thing at a time I break it up through out the day so I am never just sitting there doing the same thing over and over.

I think of stuff like what I'm gonna do after work or on my day off. I also know it can't last forever even thow sometimes it does.Think how much you need the money. I know this sounds crazy but it could always be worse.Think of something other than how long you have to be there it will go by faster.I don't hate my job but I dislike the people and that makes it even a longer day so hang in there.

I chat with my colleagues and gossip whenever I can - that'll usually make the hours fly past.
