I thought that Florida deserved it more, they went 12-1 and also the gators being SEC champions as oppose to Michigan being the Big ten runner-up to Ohio state. enough said!

Florida deserves it. Period. Michigan played a much easier schedule. They can whine about how it was the 3rd hardest, but it wasn't, that just meant that the teams they played had the third best win percentage put together. The teams weren't actually tough. The Gators also have a better defense and will shut OSU down like Mich couldn't. Plus, Michigan had their shot, they shouldn't be whining about that.

No way. Michigan deserved it more. Let's compare the two teams. Florida lost to Auburn who was pretty decent but Michigan lost to Ohio State, who is #1 and playing in the Shoe. Oh, and they only lost BY 3 POINTS! Their schedules: sure you could argue that the SEC is the deepest conference, but Florida barely edged teams such as Florida State and Georgia, who were subpar this year. Michigan killed most of the teams they faced, who are in the Big Ten, which is a conference that you could argue is the best in the country. Not to mention that Michigan beat....no...CRUSHED Notre Dame at South Bend. Florida is garbage. Everyone will agree with me when they watch Florida lose by three or more TD's.

Michigan should be playing against Ohio State for the championship. When the BCS started one of the things that was made a big thing about was the strength of schedule was not to be a factor in deciding the points and who was to be playing in a BCS Championship. Michigan was slapped in the face twice when they were passed over twice by the teams behind them, first when USC was moved into 2nd place then by UF. The only thing that has stopped Michigan is the one loss by 3 points to of all the teams #1 Ohio State. The BCS is a load of CRAP and should be done away with in favor of a playoff scenario just like the NCAA Division II and in the NFL.

It's supposed to be the two best teams.

Both teams have one loss -

Michigan lost to the consensus #1 team, undefeated Ohio State by 3 points.

Florida lost to #15 Auburn (who lost to Arkansas {10-3} by 17 and Georgia {8-4} by 22 points), who is 10-2, by ten points.

I don't see how the argument can be made that Florida is superior.

I think Florida deserved it more than Michigan HOWEVER I do believe Michigan would easily beat Florida, just as Ohio State will.

Michigan. I believe they are the 2nd best team in the country and deserve to play in the championship. It doesnt matter whether they lost to OSU before, they are the #2 team. Florida has struggled against okay teams and will get killed by OSU, Michigan at least has a shot.

I agree. How can you let Michigan play Ohio again after they already lost once?
