The wii distant is powered via 2 AA batteries. even though if there's a cost station. You plug it into the wall, then placed a million or 2 wii remotes on the charger. The charger lighting fixtures up blue while charging and does not while finished charging

It takes 2 AA batterys. I've just stocked up as they had an offer on down the supermarket and when they are used up time to get some rechable batteries I think.
