In 4 yrs, Italy's world cup heroes like Cannavaro, Buffon, Del Piero, Totti etc will be at home looking after their babies. And their recent crop of players arent impressive except for gilardino.
Look, at Brazil Ronaldo could have retired by then. But Ronaldinho, Kaka, Robinho etc will carry their team to the trophy. And who said that it could be Italy vs Brazil? What if it's England vs Brazil? With a proper coach like O'Neill and with good players like Rooney, Lennon, Walcott etc even we can be better than the 2010 Italian team

Hell yeah. The score would have 5-0 for the Italians. French won from Brasil and Italy won from France so do the math. Italy would win from any team.

i am a fan of team italy but i don't think we will ever know who will win if these two sides had met at the finals.
i love italy but i think italy was outplayed by france in the finals. all should have been well for the french even after the materazzi header. too much quality, composure, and charisma for the french. it all changed for the french because of the zidane headbutt. who would have expected that? not even in my wildest dreams.
so will i go back to my answer...we will never know...
