Trouble is, the guy who asked the question is now walking around thinking that Jamie Murray is male!

Yes, it's pretty annoying! But it happens so often that you just have to let it go and get on with your life. And post a comment, which hardly anyone ever reads anyway.
If the asker allows email, you can send them a message, too.

Some of the best answers chosen by the asker may seem a little odd, but have you ever thought about why they are chosen? The asker may not even be looking for the correct answer. He or she may be looking for the funniest, the most annoying, a particular phrase or key-word, or even just something they have not thought of before. Maybe if you think of how the best answers are chosen, you won't be so annoyed in the future.

I am starting to think that there a group of friends out there
who keep giving each other the best answer to questions
so they could of get points.

i know how you feel, my brother wrote this long thing about baseball and then the person that askes the question picks the sentence ''i dont know anything about baseball''can you believe this guy?!!??! its very very annoying, people just are so weird they dont think about others and how long it took them to answer the question. its very very annoying when the answer is wright and they pick the one that is wrong!

Actually, it is quite annoying.
also annoying is answering a question with your own knowledge base and posting it, only to find pages of downloaded information in the other answers.
