As a Red Sox fan I have to say chinstrap is right...Drew is very overrated. His contract will be more like 3 1/2 years and $70 million when you factor in DL time. That said, he might tease us all and get to 130 games in '07. His numbers will be solid but not great - around 25 homers and 90 RBI.

If he does play 100 games I think he'll put big numbers up 30 home-runs 80-90 rbi's.But you know what hes a very good defensive outfielder.he will make them Bostonians sit on the edge of there seat.

He has been healthy the last few years.

I am going with 146 games played.

280, 361, 34 HR and 110 RBI

This is the one hes been waiting for, in the big leagues in a big city.
On this Red Sox team, I think he will be great.

Like a 290. batting average.
about 15 to 23 homers
about 95 to 110 rbi's
Is he a good player? Yes, but not 70 million good.

He probably will. He won't be as successful in Boston. He can't take the pressure of being one of he Red Sox. And he will be mad that all the fans are fake idiot bandwagons.

God, why don't the stupid people stay away?

He averages over 120 games a year, so stfu you idiots. His last two injuries were HBP, so they are not recurring, and he may even play 130+ games this year.

I am guessing he will do something simiilar to this:

AVG: .300
HR: 25
RBI: 95-110

BTW: To the guy who said if he isnt good in the NL he won't be good in the AL:

HE WAS GOOD IN THE NL!

When he opted out of his contract with the Dodgers, I was hoping that teams would come to their senses about this guy. The Red Sox are poster boys for stupid.

If he stays healthy, should be same as last year. I don't know why the sox didn't offer $60m last year for Johnny Damon though
