I heart green day! One of the guys is the cutest!! anyways They'll begin touring again on Feburary 1st of this coming year!! They have said that they will try to go to every major city in the us!

Green Day is planning to use 2006 to take a break from all the touring they did the past 2 years then slowly get back into the recording studio. They have not mentioned any info what the album will be like, but Billie has said he's written about 15 new songs while they were on tour that he really liked, but not to expect a new album too soon.

Green Day was contacted and asked if they were interested in turning the American Idiot Story into a movie. Last year Billie Joe wrote a treatment for the movie (a general plot of the movie), and has given it to a screen writer who is in charge of turning it into and actual screen play.
Green Day has said that they will not act in the movie if it gets made. Billie Joe said "We'll leave the acting to the professionals." But they did say they would have a part in making sure the story got told the way they meant it to.
The last GDA heard, if the decision is made to make the movie, it wont get started until this year sometime.
