I think unless something is done about these two the quality of life on this planet will not improve. The rich nations should be less greedy and share their good fortune with less fortunate and people should remember that color is only skin deep.
underneath we all belong to the same race IE human race. Love each other than hate each other under the pretext of race, religion, political beliefs and what not.

Lofty goals but not very realistic for long durations. if we managed to have peace and put an end to hunger then being the horny little rabbits we are the world population would explode leading to lack of food which would lead to war. Then basically the cycle would rinse and repeat.
