No no no a thousand times no.
We already have though, which ironically is what the terrorists want, to disrupt our way of life.Flown lately? The restrictions are ridiculous. Oh I might choke on this lollipop better outlaw that cause some parents are too dumb to keep it away from their kids. Oh wow eating fast food will make you fat who knew? People have no self control better outlaw it.
If you give up any liberties for securities who decides how much is too much?

Only in very extreme circumstances. This is a serious question, and therefore should not be given an absolute answer.
I am extremely protective of personal rights and liberties. I disapprove of much of the current conservative government's action that strips away freedom in the name of national security, all the while putting that security in jeopardy by indirectly producing hate against us abroad. Yet I do think that if we were actively being attacked there are some liberties that we can temporarily do without.
This is a hard question to respond to because the answer can vary much in different situations. It's an interesting debate.

This is an important question. I think that some security is worth losing some liberty. Otherwise, you may not be around to enjoy your liberty. However, this should be done with caution. There should be checks and balances that ensure that the liberties removed can be returned if needed. An interesting example is what happened in the Star Wars movie franchise. If you have not seen it, you won't understand, but essentially free republic's laws were changed to the point where it turned into a tyrannical dictatorship. You can also reference Germany in the 1930s (rise of Nazism).

I believe it was Ben Franklin who said, "Anyone who gives up liberty for security deserves neither."

Maybe, and a huge maybe, that it was very , very necessary. There has been no information anywhere to suggest that we are at a point that we need to give up liberties for securities. What are you going to do once you give them up? It will be impossible to ever get them back.

I'm not old enough to have known Ben Franklin, but I am old enough to have been taught the quote, which seems to have gone out of favor. It's always a balance, and anarchy is not pretty, but I think we always need to be very cautious.

We could give up some of our liberties now and be secure. Or we could wait and let the terrorists take our country and give up all our liberties. It is the Muslim quest to rule the world.

No. What kind of security do you have without liberty? It's what this nation was built on.

No, I don't give up my liberty for anyone. Anyone walks into my house without my permission, I greet them at the door with a baseball bat, and my grandfather's old 22 pistol long barrel.
