i have known my best guy friend for 3 or 4 years and have liked him [more like love] for that long too. i never knew he liked me before. this last couple of weeks we were both in pep band and sat next to each other. each time we would have a break from the music we would lay back in the bleachers and talk. he would keep complementing me and we would just laugh and be really happy togeather. yesterday we had a game and we talked like usual then he would start to move closer to me and touch my feet with his. then when we wre both on the internet he said that he loves me alot. so then i told him that i love him too and he got very happy and excited. i havent talked to him scince last night but we will on monday.i'm not sure if he will ask me out or not but i have a pretty good feeling that he will. what are your thoughts on this situation? i really love him.

Sounds like you guys have already made your mind up on this. Keep it in perspective...this is something you both want to try so try it. Beforehand though, before you guys get intimate, talk about things. Talk about how you've been friends for so long and you don't want to ruin that. Chance is (since you guys have been friends for so long) neither one of you will do something deliberate - like cheat on each other, but it still is possible that it will eventually end. If you guys talk about it - REALLY talk about it - beforehand, likely you can have a friendship after still (if it ends up not working out - it may work out great; my point is, be prepared).

same thing wit my bestfriend execept he has a gf.i think its realle sweet nd since u've been best friends 4ever then u alreade trust each other nd get along perfect.nd thats good.but be careful because if it doesnt work out u could lose ur best friend

if you feel the same go for it if you want to keep him as a friend stay friends and explain it too him if you start dating and it doesn't work where will your friendship end up
