wearing deodarent?

WHY don't people wear deodarent??? It is so cheap and accessible nowadays!? We live in a society where deodarent is expected but why do people still not wear it...??

Notice how when you wear a certain type of perfume long enough you can't smell it anymore thinking that it's gone. However, other people can still smell it. Some people really don't know that they smell bad and need to be told. Showering and using deoderant on a regular basis is something we learn about from a young age in Western societies. Other countries may not teach its use. Family members may know nothing about it. I learned all that growing up in North America. I also know that people who have sensitive skin may develop an allergic reaction or it may simply irritate their skin. If that is the case, they should look for alternatives. But I just think that they don't even know they smell. If they could smell themselves, they would use deoderant if they knew what it was for.

Staying clean is the first necessity. One can use a can of deodorant but without maintaing regular hygene, it's useless. Some people are just lazy. I had to host a delegation of Russians/Soviets about the time of the Tiennamin Square incident about 15 years ago. I excused myself often so I could get fresh air! Standing amoung these men made me think of back on the family farm in the hot summer, working beside the men in the garden or after they had mucked stalls or repaired fences; or, worst of all, my ex-husband's feet! UGH!

Not only do many eastern and western Europeans not practice good hygene or use deodorants, the French women are well known for not shaving legs and arm pits. I have one wonderful friend who I hate to see in short sleeve or sleeveless blouses because the pit hairs hang down. Very unsightly but some people just like the natural look. By the way, she does NOT smell.

A very few people have a condition that creates the body odor regardless of what they do. They can bathe several times a day, use plenty of deodorant, body powder, whatever, but the odor persists. Unfortunately for them -- or us -- there is no cure (the last I heard).

Deodorant without anti-presperant is very difficult to find. I can't stand the smell of Tom's because it's much too strong. Crystal Clean by Lady Speed Stick (Mennen) has a very light fragrence and is very effective; but I have trouble getting it and sometimes have to get my sis to buy it in her state and mail it to me!

Anti-prespirant deodorants work by clogging the pores of the skin and can cause irritation. Between the anti-prespirants' active ingredient and the perfumes, the deodorant products that contain them can cause skin irritation and breathing difficulty for me. It's difficult for me to believe that these chemicals are healthy. Clogging pores inhibits one's body from cooling itself in the heat and excreting the body's natural oils and proper function of the human's largest organ.

Corn starch can be used as a deodorant in a pinch. It's natural and can be applied with a powder puff.

because it causes some people to swell up in the arm pit and get very sore so honey just get a charcoal filter for your nose and I'm very sorry to have to tell you this.

deodorant is good, but anti-perspirant is what actually does any good and that can increase your risk of breast cancer. it has something to do with the metal or aluminum or whatever that is in anti-perspirant. my aunt (who survived breast cancer) is the anti-anti-perspirant crusader. but she is not smelly. maybe she naturally just does not perspire or maybe she does frequent deodorant applications.

anyway, that is a reason.
