I just bought a new battery and it was working fine but when i tried to charge it the ipod wouldnt turn on or even show up in itunes i used the cable form my mini ipod i dont know if that would make a difference. or dose the 3 gen. require the dock.

Don't need a dock, though you might want to try the wall charger. I have heard that a completely dead battery may not always charge through the USB cable.

i might reccomend the iTouch. Its is touch exhibit, and you're able to't fairly circulate incorrect with a splash exhibit! I at the instant have an iPhone and that i for my section like it. I additionally love having iTunes! this is magnificent. With the iPod touch, you even get purposes, the place as with a Zune, you do not. stable luck
