There is something else she needs and is trying to fill it with "stuff." Today's society both encourages and equips us with this quick fix mentality.
Counseling comes to mind, but that only works if both parties are sincerely interested in helping the relationship. If the other person is unwilling (ie, does not see a problem), then it is all on you. Don't blame yourself for what you cannot provide. I love my wife very much. I do what I can and am personally satisfied with that. If she isn't, then the ball is in her court. I work hard and do my best, so I can't really do much more and she should be satisfied with that.
If the problem is causing your relationship to fail, and counseling is not an option, and you have tried talking to her about it but to no avail, then maybe it is time for someone else to give it a shot. She will undoubtedly find that she will never find fulfillment, but she will have lost so much before she figures it out.
Bottom Line- It is her problem and she needs to address it.

You could always go with the talk to her approach...but you've probably already tried that.
Why don't you have HER balance the checkbook for a while. Then she can see where the money goes and how it's not feasible to keep buying things.

you give her all the attention and love that you can give to her. if that isnt what she wants, then maybe you should look into finding someone who will appreciate you for you and not what you can buy.
stop giving into a dead end relationship based on material things. there are far more women out there who just want the love.

quit buying her stuff. she needs to love you for you not for what u buy. be demanding back. put your foot down. if she wants stuff tell her to buy it her self except on special occasions like her bday or x mas.

Then give it too her.........:O)
Said with a smile.....
Do you like giving her gifts and making her happy?
Does she do the same for you?
Is it hurting your bank account........
If there are money issues then tell her....talk about it.
If its greed then talk about it.......
If there are no other issues connected to it....be happy that you are able to do for one another.
Best wishes
