The music file is already on my computer as a WMA, and i want to change it to an mp3. Is this possible?

I don't have itunes.

on itunes "preferences", click on the tab labeled "advanced" and then on the tab "importing". where it says 'import using...." choose mp3 encoder and click OK. then import the file to iTunes. it should have become an mp3, but just in case, right click on the song and click get info. it will show you what kind of file it is. if it's not mp3, right click it and click "convert selection to mp3" another file wil be made. the second file is the mp3 one. the highlighted one is the wma. now you can drag the file to the desktop as an mp3. hope this helps!

I think if you put the song into itunes it will convert it for you automatically

I use a program called xilisoft, it works great, just get it for free.
