How do I get my kids off the computer. One is 13 one is 8, but they are both in good shape. Any ideas???

set up certain times they can use it and when the time is up, they are off till tomorrow. It can become an addiction, it happened to my daughter and she neglected other things to spend time on the computer, finally we had to tell her she had a problem and she took it to heart and started living her life away from the computer. Anything kids like, they will do in excess so it is up to parents to say, enough is enough.

turn it off...unplug it...start handing out punishments...sounds pretty easy to me - I have a 9 year old and a 5 year old. If they don't get off when they're told they're either grounded or sent to bed early.

Be the parent, lay down the law. Then, unplug it and take the plug with you.
