I have a 2 year old son and since he was just a baby we've always thought that he's seen ghost or,spirits(whatever you want to call them)When he was just a little baby he use to look up and wave or say bye bye.I asked the question about the dream yesterday and I don't know if this has anything to do with this but my son call monsters and scary things "scaries" and for the past 3 nights he's been seeing "scaries" in his room and he'll wake up early in the morning terrified and screaming. We took him to the doctor the first night because he wouldnt stop crying and they said he just had a bad dream. But last night he woke up screaming and he had a small scratch on his face and we're really not sure if he scratched himself or what.Could someone please try to give me some information about this or direct me to a site that could help me. Thank you all so much.

Even if there were a demonic presence, it would have been your boy who scratched himself. Demons can't scratch - except in movies.
Most likely your son has been traumatized. It could be by scary movies, or by a family problem - how is your marriage doing? Or perhaps someone, even a child, teased him with some frightful threat. Any of those things could bring this on. Of course Satan plays on our fears, and the best way of combatting fear is encouraging faith in Jesus.
One thing that can traumatize a child is having so-called "exorcism sessions". Such things are not found in the Bible (Jesus and the apostles chased demons out with a simple word of authority, not by arguing with and screaming at the demon).
EDIT:
But I don't think it is a demon. More an emotional problem.

Just let him sleep in the bed with you for a couple of nights and have him sleep with mittens on because he scratched himself. He'll be fine. A lot of people think that kids are more tuned into the paranormal. Who know? Maybe they are. Probably not, though. He's safe and fine just having bad dreams. Check him for fever and let him sleep with you for a couple of nights.

You know what, no wonder your baby is so scared. You could be putting your supersticious fears on to him. You need to be strong and act right to be a good influence for him in these scary times! Its not halloween or voodoo awareness week! Grow up!

I think ghosts and demons are real and can hurt small children if in their past life they had something happened to them because of a child/children like if a woman dies during child birth, she is likely to punish a child that comes in her contact. Demons are more vicious than ghosts and they are more cruel. You should find someone to perform exorcism. Meanwhile buy a lemon and put it under the pillow, also a small knife. Take some salt and circle your fist around the kid's head and throw the salt in fire.

He's probably having nightmares about monsters in his room. I took a psychology course and we did a thing on dreams and they said thats one of the most common dreams for little kids. He probably scratched himself because he was scared and was waving his arms around and didn;t even realize it.

when my son was young, He had bad dreams, and would be afraid to go back to sleep.

I told him that I had a special ray gun and when he had a bad dream, I would come into his dreams with my ray gun and get rid of the bad people for him.
he never had the problem again.
