If you just renewed your contract in march most likely you are not elgible to renew your contract. Typically, you are eligilbe to renew (upgrade) 11 out of 12 months(on a year contract) or 21 out of 24 months (on a two year contract), which gives you the discounted pricing on phones.. Considering that you just signed a contract in march, if you want a new phone you will be paying the full retail price for a new phone, which is considerably more than the discounted pricing (on average $130 more). So unless your phone was broken, lost, etc. I would just wait until you are eligible for upgrade.
