yeah it's safe. i mean, if you say you're from ireland, and if you're really from illinois, any bad person is going to go look for you in ireland if he/she is desparate. without even thinking of coming to illinois. so yeah, just don't put any personal information, and name a different location. far from where you live.

i think it isn't because there are so many hackers that trace your computer....n then there are a lot of fakes on the internet that may try 2 steal ur picz if your pictures can get people 2 veiw your page.....n if u do put them on Myspace try 2 keep them private 2 only ur close friendz ok! i hope i answered your question! have fun on Myspace! but i think u should try a less safer web page like bebo, tagged, or facebook or sumthang else! jus send me a message if i can help anytime! bye MUAHSS!

no - someone might see what you look like and that would be the end of the world.
(if it's not safe then about 3 million people are really rocking on the edge)
personally, I think the only bad thing about MySpace (other than the fact that FOX owns it now) is that people get crazy on it... they REALLY care about their fake friendships with people they don't really know.... kinda sick.

id say so. i mean you can have your pictures private to where only you can see them, public to where anyone who visits your profile can see them and then only to where your myspace friends can see them.of course if you wanna be 100% safe, then i wouldnt post any on there, but myspace itself is haing alot of security and molestation things going on. there are alot of perverts out there. anyways back to your question, i think that if you feel safe enough to put one there, then you'll be ok. if things start getting perverted, you can always delete that persons comment.

yes i have like five pictures of me on my myspace. the only un-safe thing about myspace is what you tell people. give people your city but don't give them your address. give them as much info as you want and nothing more then what you want.

I have and havn't had any problems. But I only add people I know or people who will actually talk to me.
I just suggest keeping yourself safe. Don't post anything like address or phone numbers. And depending on your age, you might want to talk to your parents about it. Parents are always good sources of advice, or talk to a teacher or something and get their opinion. Overall, I don't see anything wrong, as long as they arn't showing anything that you shouldn't.

It's safe but don't be surprised if you see your pictures floating on Google Images photoshopped in all kinds of ways.

Sure... as long as you don't put ur life story and all so people with cruel intentions can find u easily... have fun, believe in Jesus and pray every day. That's the only way of being totally safe.

My picture is there, and I don't feel threatened.
But, are you planning to publish pornographic photos of yourself?
That's a different story, and yes, that can cause problems later on.
