I have never written a thesis before and I need help. My topic is Physician Assisted Suicide. I understand that I need to narrow my topic down but I'm not sure how to do this. If someone could give me some advise it would be so great!

A thesis sentence goes in the first paragraph, which is usually the introduction paragraph. It sums up what your paper is about. Try to stay away from "My paper is going to be about.." It sounds elementary school-ish. You could do something like "Many physician assistants have been blamed for helping patients attempt or commit suicide." Good luck!

PS - The thesis sentence is usually the last sentence in the first paragraph.

Okay, I just learned how to write a thesis but I got a A on my final paper. Anyway, start out with a question to attract readers. Don't try to tell what your thesis is about but, like make it easy for the reader to figure out what it is. For your body paragraph, also start out with a question. You should have at least 3 supporting evidence and NEVER state your supporting evidence in your intoduction paragraph. In the conclusion summarize, briefly andconcise, all your supporting arugment and your thesis.

*hope this help*
