yes. that's the great thing about it: its great to have a different yet global perspective in response to the questions being posed on here and have people from all over the world post informative, fun and interesting questions. why should we only answer questions posed by those living in the same country as ourselves, because we shouldn't. besides, they can teach us a thing or two in regards to their culture and nationality- and we can teach and educate them a thing or two in regards to ours. to all the people across the world on this site, i would say welcome folks!

Yes I do like foreigners. Personally I have learnt from other cultures. I love having friends from other nationalities. People who stick among their own are sad! They are narrowminded.
The best thing I have learnt through knowing people from other countries is to view each person as an individual and not assign labels to them based on their ethnicity.

Yeah, I like that too. I have to say I am a foreigner myself and have been in UK only for 3 years.
In fact, one of the things I like about being here is being able to get to know people from different nations and cultures. For instance, before I came here, I didn't know that Iranians are Persians and not Arabs!

I can't afford to travel so this is often the nearest you get to meeting so many different people. The internet is great if you're a virtual tourist. Photos of different places are neat, and you can get all sorts of recipies and cooking tips.
I also like seeing other peoples artwork, and visiting museums.
Plus this is one reason I don't get snotty about peoples poor English, they might be dyslexic or they might be making an effort to communicate when its tough for them, or it might not be their language. But at least they're here and trying:) Cut them some slack!
StingMyFlesh, do you really believe that when people are scared of people they react by pretending to like them?

Unfortunately I dont get to converse with foreigners often, I would like to thouigh. They more open and friendlier than people here. Maybe because its a cultural difference, they have not got reason to be as cold as people from this country.

The internet is truly a beautiful thing.
Think of how much muslims could save on transport to britain by just communicating by email rather than living here.
that way we could all share opinions , values and cultures from all over the world without it affecting employment, housing, way of life.
wonderful, islamic countries wont have to tolerate hordes of pesky hate filled ,british economic migrants landing on their shores and trying to enforce our culture and values on to them anymore.(do we get violations for sarcasm?)

We are all foreigners, in a way. The human race has mixed and mingled in such a proportion that it is undefinable such a thing as "purity of DNA". According to MIT and other Universities (UK ones as well) we all come from the African woman, between 150.000.000 - 300.000.000 years ago.
Therefore, I do like foreigners because, in a way, I am a foreigner my self. Not to mention our previous lives, (if you believe in them...)!
Cheers
