In your own opionion, will the world progress into a brighter future for our decedents or will it become unsustainable with global warming, pollution, wars, and economic instability?

Comparing to the world 2000 years ago, have humans made any progress other than science and technologies? We are still killing each other in the name of religion and for our materialistic greed.
Thanks to the Internet, we can communicate simultaneously with anybody on this planet. But it does not necessarily contribute to world peace (as of today). I can hardly be optimistic about our future.
Albert Einstein once said, "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits." The only light I see is that we seem to have an ability to recognize the fact that we are not so wise as we want to believe. In other words, maybe we are not that stupid either. We may have tomorrow, hopefully.

I think it's worse not than it was 20 years ago and I feel it's only going to get worse still. I am not normally a pessimist but in this case I have to be. But for those of you who believe in God our reward is in Heaven. I do worry about my kids and the world that they have to grow up in.

No it is not, but not because of those things, but because of men (humans in general), and our rebellion, but in the end, God will end the world, and there will be a new heaven and a new earth
