I always hear someone or the other talking about the rollar coaster tycoon. What is it?

IS IT SOME SORT OF GAME?

Roller Coaster Tycoon is a Computer Program that was made to bring the fun of creating a roller coaster to a point where kids and families can build coasters without knowledge of physics or design realism to an extent(still have to be able to make it over every hill) To put it simple, its a version of the software that roller coaster engineers use but made to be extremely user friendly and way less complex, its sadly not on the internet as far as live multiplayer modes, but there are alot of sites that host uploads of park files and in the later versions(roller coaster tycoon 2 and 3) roller coaster files. you are right it is a game,but you have to buy it normally around $20. the game is loads of fun. the game is all about making your own amusement park. you can start off with an already built amusement park or you can start with a big open area. you can either buy of build rides. you have to hire workers add food a.d souvenir stands restrooms. make prices for the entrance and souvenirs. now the goal : there are different goals in this game but most consist of pleasing people and making money. there are also different types of roller coaster tycoon. i would suggest starting off with roller coaster tycoon1 it is the easiest to follow. there is also different types of tycoons like zoo tycoon same purpose you just build a zoo not a theme park. you can buy these games at target and best buy mainly. well hope i could help

Yes ma'am it's a computer game basically what you do is build an amusement park and build rides with the obvious (food stands, souvenir stores) basic things like that and if a ride breaks you have to repair it and just keeping the keep up going it's a very interesting game, That's only my opinion though! Yes and if you like tycoon games I think you should try the movie tycoon or theater tycoon basically the same thing but its only a movie theater get the candy and things like that put up and you can upgrade your things such as how many screens you have playing in your building and your seats can be upgraded so they are bigger and more comfortable and general things you need to do to keep up with modern technology!

Rollercoaster tycoon is a simulation game. You are the owner of a theme park. You design the park, add rides, bathrooms, food stands, etc. to keep your customers happy. You can design your own rollercoasters. You get goals to complete such as.. get 100 people in your park with a happiness rating of 600 or above by the end of year 1. It's a game where you build your own theme park with certain restrictions and business goals. It's like building and managing your own amusement park by building rides, advertising it, making guests happy, and paying off loans from the bank also. It's a great game, but I don't think you can download it online. you can try using limewire or going to download.com for it. it is a cd rom that you have to buy and i do not think that you can play it online.


what it is really is a game where you pick a park that you want to base your park and and then you try to complete the objective that you get with that park. like you can build off of a six flags park and then your objective might be to build all of the missing rides. like if you did six flags great adventure then nitro might be missing or rolling thunder.


then if you want to start from scratch you can put your park where a different park might be. like i can use the land of six flags magic mountain but buildf a completely different park with totaly different rides.


the way you bild rides is once you chose your park then you can either select from the rides they all ready have made or you can build your own which from my point of view is the most fun. but again you might find it easyer just to udse the rides that they give you.

also as the game progresses more rides will become availible. that might be more fun to the guest that come to your park

also you should always pay attention to your guests like you want to keep all of yourpaths clean by useing handy men and making the handy men sweep the paths. you can also make handy men mow lawns empty garbage cans and water flowers. also you should always hire security gards that roam the park and keep people from breaking garbage cans and breaking benches.
over all, all it is it's making a theme park.

Its a computer game. Older, too. You make an amusement park and try to meet objectives. It can be difficult. You can build rides, design your own roller coasters, set prices, etc. You can even charge your guests to use the bathroom. You have to balance out loan interest, research, promotion costs, and employee costs with your ride sales, entrance sales, and concession stand sales to stay in the green. My rating: 9/10. Brilliant game, especially with the expansion packs.
