I know people are saying anesthesiology- but go for the nurse anesthetist instead. Its requires a masters degree and is very competitive to get into. But you can get paid more than certain kinds of doctors, you have less schooling, and you usually don't have to pay the crazy malpractice insurance rates. There is no lengthy residency program afterwards either, the residency is included in the schooling for the masters. They do everything the regular anesthesiologist does except doesn't pay the crazy malpractice rates. It's 4 years undergrad, a year or two of experience in ICU nursing, then 2-3 years of the masters program depending on the school. I have seen salaries ranging from 140,000- 240,000 a year. Average salary in my area is 140,000.

I went with astrophysicist, but given the chance to go back and do it again, I might go with medical or pharmacutical research - I'd like to get my hand dirty once in a while.
