Are Victoria Crowned Pigeons sexually dimorphic? or Do they need to be DNA or surgically sexed?

okay, now that the children have done with their answers, here's a serious one.

It is possible to sex Victoria Crowned pigeons without necessarily doing DNA testing or surgically sexing them. (see here for further information - http://www.zebrafinch.com/VCP.html

However, DNA testing is always something that might be able to save you a year or so of waiting if you're not sure and while somewhat expensive, it could be of use. Please, also do more research to make sure that you would have the correct facilities to keep the birds if you do get them and have fun. They're absolutely stunning birds.

Put a group together. Eventually, the male will be the one on top.

My advice is that you go and visit some good singles bars and don't mess around with a bird.
