They don't. And it's not "extra" - it's a functional body part that protects the head of the penis (glans), keeping it soft, moist and clean and keeping it from rubbing against clothing. When the boy grows up, it also makes sex more enjoyable, for him and for his wife. The foreskin should remain intact - really, it's not an "extra" anymore than your outer ears are "extra."

The truth is that there really isn't a medical reason for having a boy's "extra skin" cut off his penis. Unfortunately, there is an obsession in the U.S. regarding this issue.....and too many myths and scare tactics are being used to convince people to believe that it is absolutely necessary.....as if the person will be some kind of disease-ridden alien because he has a foreskin still intact. It's a wonder why the majority of Europe has not been consumed by cancer and disease....because of the disease promoting uncircumcised men that make up almost 85% of the population. The hygiene factor is the main reason that pro-circumcision people use most to convince others to have their tips snipped.....stating that uncircumcised penises are dirty, nasty, and smelly. I wonder how it is that no one ever mentions the fact that if a woman does not clean her nether-regions on a daily and regular basis she can produce 5 times the bacteria, and smelly discharge that an uncircumcised man could. None the less.....no one is promoting the cutting off of a woman's outer vaginal lips or even the clit hood......go figure. It's a simple procedure called....Soap and water. If you teach your boys to pay attention to keeping clean, and how important it is to always be clean, there will never be a so-called Hygiene Issue.
What else is left.....Appearance? Simply because people have been accustomed to seeing the completely exposed penis without the protective skin covering, they automatically see the natural penis as something strange, unsual and even aesthetically unflattering. Ask someone in Europe how they feel about the way an uncircumcised penis looks....the natural look.....you'd be surprised.
There is one more factor that pro-circumcision people use....the Bible, and the pact that God made to Abraham in the old testament. That every (jewish) man who believed and followed the teachings of the LAW of God had to be circumcised as a visible sign to that pact. This part is true.....then again, that was in the time of the LAW. We now live in the time of Grace, which was established when Jesus Christ died on the cross as a symbol of carrying the sins of mankind. Therefore, we now live in the time of Grace, not in the time of the LAW....and in Romans Chapter 2, the Apostol Paul spoke about the fact that it was not necessary to be circumcised physically to be right with god. So much for that reason....!
Don't get me wrong, if you feel that you'd rather have your boy circumcised because that's just the way you feel.....by all means, go for it.....I'm a true believer of free will, and I respect everyone's right to choice in everybody's life. I just simply think that using scare tactics, and unfounded myths to convince others to have their boy(s) circumcised is wrong, and disrespectful.
Once again.....to answer your question, Boy's don't need to get the extra skin off their penis.
Best of Luck!

There is no need for any boy to be circumsised. With proper hygiene it will not smell and he will have extra nerve endings so when he grows and has sex he will enjoy it more.

They don't. There are also alot of complications that arise with botched circumcisions, and this occurs more than you think.
