I think that child support is based on what you make. Do you really think that a child can be supported for $50 a week today? Even without daycare?

Wow!! $50 a week. I only get $67 a month from my ex wife and I have two sons to take care and I earn less then 22K a year. Makes me wonder how things would be if the situation was reversed. This could be a case of discrimination. I don't get extra when I have to pay out more money in the summer months to take care of day care expenses. HMMMMM.

I see your point. She found a way to beg a family member to do daycare so she can work, so NOW she should go back to the $50/ week.

We can assume that extra $30 or $40 per week is giving the single mom a pretty lavish lifestyle. Hell, she's probably in the Bahamas drinking rum & having a good time on your money.

Tell it to a judge.

it depends on the jusge. in Kansas it goes back to the same judge. and have heard of judges getting tired of the bickering back and forth and attempting to get custody and childsupport changed that he says if either parent brings it back they will be in contempt, in this situation the mother keeps trying to change custody, dad has primary believe it or not, she has been told that if she brings it back again then The judge will give sole custody to father w/ minimal visitation rights, so be careful about bringing it back and forth so often. besides to be honost, a dad paying less than 100$ a week w/ or w/o childcare is pretty good, esp compared to an intact family

My lord I hope not. The child should still be taken care of whether he/she is going to daycare or not. Most people I know are having to pay more than that.

50 dollars a week, most people paid more than that 20 years ago.

You can take them back to court,

There shouldn't be child support. It it is a woman's body and a woman's right to choose, then the woman should be the only one to take care of it.

$50 dollars isnt squat for a kid; its costs more then that just to feed them a week.
