You should check with the local library. They probably have CD's that you can check out. It will be easier to learn the language when your immersed in the culture.

Hi! I'm studying at the Moscow State Linguistic University and we have there a special course for "teachers for foreign people". If you want I may ask some of the girls ,who does that course, and may be they would be glad to help you! I would enjoy to teach someone as well, but i'm not sure whether i'm a "professional" enough. It's nice to hear that you're interested in learning russian :) Good luck!

Why Moscow? Capital cities are infamous for exploitation of distant places labour, in simple terms look at London. A 17 12 months previous has in simple terms sailed around the globe, yet I doubt you will get a visa until you're 18. i might advise contacting the Russian embassy, there is no one greater effective placed to grant advice and perhaps a helping hand.

There are a lot of different programs. You just need to find what works for you. Go to the library or book store see what they have. Try to find CD (Russian course for Americans). You always can listen to them and you pay once for the course. You do not need to go to the class to teach it. (more convenient). Ask people around, may be someone need to learn English... you can teach him/her English and learn Russian.

Good Luck,
Svetlana

What work will you be doing there? I lived in Russia for 18 months and my company paid for Russian lessons. If you are employed by a company, ask them.
