Arrrggg!!! how blasphemous!!!! Where would we be without the splendor and grace? Would it make you feel good to lose your favorite performer because music was abolished peacefully? I think you would riot or lynch someone. Taking away the Royal from G.B. is like taking a puppy to the pound; wouldn't you miss your little puppy?

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a foreigner and natives do not realise what this all splendour means for someone who's outsider. After all the power of monarch is very limited and a nation is not ruled by one person. Representation of this country however and all the past history, its culture makes big impact during every single meeting with royals, that is a unforgotten event!

Yes. Once the queen dies, the monarchy should be dissolved. The family has enough money to live well for the rest of their lives without taking the income from taxes as they currently do.

Yes. How can we live in a society in which one person is in (nominal) control, is exempt from law, and has done NOTHING to earn their position. How can we tell children that they can do anything if they try hard enough when they can't?
Everyone says that they don't do anything, other than attract tourists. Anyone heard of Versailles? The French kicked out theirs ages ago, and still make huge amounts of money from them. Peacefully? I'd be happy to pull the trigger in the name of freedom.

I do like the Queen and Charles, so I think it still should remain in their lifetime. And while I understand it's part of history, lets be realistic, times have changed, it's about run it's course.

I don't want to see more generations of royals, so yes, it should be allowed to slowly die out.

no tho the system no longer would work in the traditinoal standard but the queen has almost no power to her name. she has becom much like the statue of liberty to england. it is quite sad realy. and it was caused for the most part by the U.S.s strides for democracy.
