Mac G4 tower won't start up after move. Does not power up, but start up light is on if held down. Ideas??

My G4 Power Mac was working fine. Then I moved it to a new office location across town. When I set it up it again, it would not start. Keyboard start key does nothing, power key on the tower lights up when held, but does nothing and goes out wheh released. No previous problems of any kind with this Mac...software or hardware...

The computer has one of two possible problems:
The power management data is corrupt or the processor has gotten jostled a bit too much.

For the first problem, follow the steps in ONE of the TWO articles below, depending on which type of G4 you have (AGP graphics or PCI graphics).

For the second problem, take your Mac to a qualified Apple service center and ask them to reseat the processor AND reset the Power Management Unit. How do you know which problem you have? First assume it is the PMU. Then, if the steps in the article don't get it going, it most likely needs a processor reseating.
