NO!!!
I've lived in Québec and I speak both English and French, but it's not just about language.
Separatism is something that ******** politicians and irresponsible media feed on. They have their own agendas and they have NOTHING to do with the betterment of people in Québec or the rest of Canada. The best way to achieve influence and power is to convince people that they are oppressed and hard done by.
You wouldn't believe the number of fawktwits who have devoted their lives persuading unilingual (French speaking) Québecois that the rest of English Canada hates their guts. It's not surprising so many think they'd be better off on their own when they keep getting fed such crapola!
What Harper was thinking when he began pushing for that absurd nation within Canada thing, I cannot imagine. But usually controversy is stirred when attention is needed to be deflected from more important matters.

A separate nation or a separate country? There is a difference. PM Harper recently 'anointed' Quebec as a nation within a nation (Canada), but it is not separate from Canada. This, of course, is a boondoggle which opens a Pandora's Box. Where do you stop? Are the Cajun in Atlantic Canada next? Good God. In retrospect, the 'distinct society' that former PM Mulroney promoted now doesn't seem so bad. But I digress. No, I don't think Quebec will actually separate because they couldn't swing it economically.

No it should not. It is part of Canada and will stay part of Canada. I like it that way. Quebec is beautiful and the people are eccentric sure, but how logical is it to make it a separate country. They are more Canada than the rest of Canada. So they stay!!

I think Quebec needs to stop asking this question... They have been trying to become a seperate nation for a while now... and noone really cares. Not even other Canadians take them seriously.

hear to Erica. She does no longer make dumb uneducated comments as you're companies to do. You stated "close spiritually", yet you answer in an financial experience which has no longer something to do with a individual's spirituality. I had no concept that inmates in a psychological institute had get admission to to desktops.

This is already in the works... think they might just get it done. As far as my opinion, I am not familiar enough with the situation.; although, I am a true-believer is letting states become independent nations if that state's majority doesn't agree with the rest of the country and wishes it.

Why?! Because the Govt of Canada is hateful and discriminatory to them? Well are they? No! I can respect a group of people who identify themselves under some common ground wanting their individual freedoms when they are oppressed - but when they are not - shut the F up!
