I usually think of numbers when I think of random things.
The numbers generated by the lottery and their order are random.
The order of the numbers on horses as they pass the finish line in a race are random.
Both of the above answers are not infinitely random because the choices for any number comming up are from a limited group.
There are random number generators where you can set parameters so numbers generated by the generators are by definition random.
The second ,minute ,hour,day and year that a bird will poop on you is random as long as you sometimes go outside.
exactly how fast you are going when you get your next speeding ticket is random.
The number of grains of sand you can pick up with your hand.
Anything that you know will occur but have no way of predicting is actually random such as the first number on the car tag of the next car to pass you or the color of that driver's shirt.
How many people will be in front of you in the next line where you will have to wait.
The day President Bush will be popular with over 50% of Americans. oops probably will never happen so that can't be considered random.
How many phone messages will be on your machine if you are gone for a year.
How many times your drunk friend will repeat themself during a long party.( not how many time you listen before you leave them )
Who will be on the cover of the Rolling Stones mag next month.
What the prime interest rate will be in 100 years.
The birth place of the first human to go outside of the solar
system.
The number of hurricanes to hit the US each year and the highest wind speed generated.
