can anyone tell me how to get to the secret level like 4 and 7 is there any way of get there with out going to level 8 first

if your talking about the new super Mario bros for the ds (and i think you are) just beat the boss as mini-Mario
the easiest way to do this is be pacient and have a mini-mushroom in the reserve, get to the boss then use it

Deliver the killing blow to the bosses of world 2 and world 5 as Mini Mario (the Mini Mushroom version).
Doing that to the boss of world 2 would get you to world 4. Doing that to the boss of world 5 would get you to world 7.

if you wanna go to level four ...at level 2-2 at the end with the elevators jump up high so you get up on the roof instead of going in the pipe to end the level then you will come to a warp where u can choose level 4
