Do u remember this story?
""" if u do, u don't have 2 read these lines, if u don't be my guest"
About 18 yrs ago, this guy "Sayed" had a sex-change operation. It was very famous at that time.He was the 1st to do it in a closed conservative society like Egypt. He was a student in Alazhar univ. in the faculty of medicine. The univ. suspended "her" permenantely because of the sex change. After that Salley became a usual topic in News papers. She suffered from the contempt of the society and resorted to ways to prove her feminity. Worked as an exotic dancer , and had been accused of not complying with the law regarding legal dancing.
Seemingly, she straightened up after that. Got married to a decent guy and is wearing a veil and faught her way back to the univ.. It was a fierce fight until a verdict was issued by the higher Administrative Court that she can come back to the Univ.
Now what do u think of this remarkable story.I am impressed by the perserverance of this woman. Wt abt u?

What I mean is, This is Egypt. A very uneasy society when it comes to matters related with sex.
I just wanted you 2 imagine what she had 2 go through all these years, and what she endured to try to get back to the university.
And finally her marriage to a fine-looking guy.
Isn't that something great ?

The question which i didnt find its answer in your story is why this boy Sayed decided to go through this operation? Otherwise, i c that he is so brave to challenge everyone who refused such situations specially that like u said we r living in a very closed community which doesnt accept such things at all no matter what were the reasons for him to do that. I am sure that he (now she) believes that he is a free human being and he is the only one that can decide his future. I thought of another question which is didnt he think of how the people will look at him after he do that operation? The only answer i found is that he didnt which made me respect him more although i refuse such operations cause we must accept how God creats us.

Hey No body how are you?Frankly I didn't follow this story as I was so young when it happened (6 years old),but do you imagine that when I ask about this story before answering your question ,there was absolutly no one knows that she did it cause of a certain defect in the sexual organs!!!!!!,to the hell with this media I can imagine how that manipulative media deprives her even from sympathy of the people who accused her of being a guy or doing something against religion (transsexualism is forbidden in Islam) and also this society which deprives her from using this right earlier before reaching the collage age,I assume her parents was afraid to do it in order to avoid social embarrassment, maybe it is too late but I'm so sorry for what she had to go through and enshaa Allah god will reward her khair.

I know this operation can only be done when there is a certain defect in the sexual organs where the patient has features of both genders. The poor people live in torment all their lives until they take preference or certain signs of one gender precedes the other. Allah thankfully gave us the medical ways to relieve those patients of their medical condition through surgery and hormones and I see nothing wrong with that.
It's the stupid media, which is not honorable enough to mention the whole truth in order to catch the ears, which is the cause of all misunderstandings and negative attitudes towards the whole story. Sally should have continued to study and should have been given the chance to, FINALLY, get a normal life.

1st thing to say is that the media mostly is evil it destroy men life
like in this story she change from a man to woman for medical causes not bcoz of gayness but the media must talk a lot

see what media make when a girl has attacked by some criminals and take her virginity they try to photo her and make interviews with her
the one who made this don't think that his mother or daughter or sister may be in the situation of this girl

there an Islamic words (iza boletom fa aestatero )
but how we nastater we must nefdah and neshahar

and if she change sex for a gayness reasons why they didn't want her to continue her education
did they the one they will go to hell when she change i don't think so
and who is them to judge her in the first place they r mistaken people too
juses say onece this (man kan menkom bela kateaa falyarmeha be hagar )
so pla people and media don't judge others u r not perfect

i hope the newspapers and the media leave her alone and do not take pictures of her or anything, so that she can almost have a normal life
