Heh - I do this all the time. Press and hold the centre button and the up button for a reset. Should be fine.

Have you tried to hook up your ipod to your computer and charge it. Sometimes the ipod's get weird and have to be restarted. My friend snowboards and listens to his ipod all the time up in Utah. The cold can make the battery die quicker, but wont harm it very much. unless its extreme temperature, but i don't think you would be around such a temperature. I hope it starts to work again, because i love my ipod and id be lost without it.

Chances are that it is broken. There is prob. a warranty on it tho. It is possible that it may turn on after a few day(after it thaws out). Ipods are very fragile so dont be too dissapointed if it is broken.

unless it is below freezing in your car, I doubt its broken. You cant break an electrical component unless it is below freezing. Unless your in a humid state then it can be different. But the battery will need to be checked. Most likely its fine...

There may be some condensation inside it if you just brought it in from the cold and that might be causing problems. I would let it sit for several hours and try it again.

First you check if it has any electric charge. Keep it in the shade in a sunnyday where there is enough light and warm.

in all probability no longer. permit it heat up and see if it works. If no longer, plug it in to a skill source and see if that reboots it. that's got here approximately to mine previously, and it in basic terms necessary to heat up.
