I've heard that people go to the apple stores to get music from their computers, is this possible?

i've also heard you set your iPod to "manually manage music" and then it works...

Of course. You put the music on your ipod just like you would from home. All you need is the connector and the computer and viola!

No, iPod should only be used with the iTunes and PC that was first sync to it, other attempts to do so will lead to malfunction.

Yes! You can, it's just like using it at home, just with another computer. Your friend should have iTunes, and a connecter USB cable.

yeahhh, as long as they have itunes or windows media player, or any other software you can transfer music to your ipod with.
