So if I told my husband lets eat at hooters and one of the waitresses sits on my husbands lap will I get in trouble if I tell her to giddy on up and not give her a tip. Have any of you ladies ever told a waitress from Hooters to get off your mans lap?

The only difference b/w hooters and regular restaurants is that the waitresses wear short shorts, tank tops and pantyhose. I think it would be fine for your family to dine there.

Hell, I'm female and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll eat at Hooters. Sure, the waitresses are dressed skimpy. But they're easily ignorable. The wings are great, and so is the warm chopped salad!

It's just a theme restaurant. Nothing raunchy goes on unless the MALE invites it, and the waitresses won't do that at a table with kids anyway.

I am female and I have been many times with many different groups of people. I live in Atlanta and have been to several different locations. I have never seen any of the waitresses behaving inappropriately. They do have on tight shorts and tight shirts.

Their chicken wings are above average and they have a great grouper sandwich.

Go with your husband and let him get it out of his system -- it's really not that different. Hooter's has been great at their marketing. Once you have been, the mystique is gone and it's really not a big deal. I would be more worried about the creepy men who you find at the bar who consider Hooter's their cheap strip club -- they just DON'T get it!

I have never heard of one of the waitresses just sitting on a customers lap. Maybe if he was her boyfriend or something. Yes the waitresses wear tank tops and tight shorts. The food is not that great, I only go when that is where the group wants to go.

Ok, this is where I get diffinse of Hooters, NO they dont lap dance for your guys...............its a family resutant the waitress just adore the kids. Like I said ITS A FMAILY resturant. And probaly those that have told you crap about the resturant chances are they have never been, & just dont like the way the girls dress, get over it! Its nothing any worse then what you see on tv, or the streets. We see other kids there there too. If your having trust issues with your husband there with the girls, then that means your having trust issues with him, then you need to reevlauate your marriage. The have NEVER-EVER done any type of lap dances. Its a family returant, not a STRIP JOINT!

Hell even my mother&law eats there & shes in her 60's

I've been there plenty of times and actually really enjoy it. The food is decent and the waitresses are very friendly and nice. I wouldn't recommend taking children, because they'll either be embarrassed to be there with you or wonder why they're the only kids there. As for waitresses sitting in your husband's lap, I've never seen that happen but I can't imagine that it could be considered rude to ask them to get up if they did. I actually find it to be an incredibly comfortable atmosphere.

Hooters Restaurants offer a wide variety of sandwiches, hamburgers, seafood, and our nearly world famous wings. Download our menu and browse it at home, or phone in your order to your local Hooters and we'll have it hot and ready to pick up! Please note that some items are not available at all locations.
Here is the menu: http://www.hooters.com/menu/ I copied and pasted the above for you.

They do have women with short shorts and tank tops on. Otherwise they are just a restaraunt when I went there quite a few years ago. Of course, the men like to look at the women. They sell good ribs according to my friend. I don't like ribs. I thought it would be a place only for men. There were families in there when I went. There is a bar section. You could look up where you live and call them and ask for more information about the one nearest you. Here is their website where you can click on many things. They even sell bibs for babies. http://www.hooters.com/

No one goes to Hooter's just for chicken. All the ones I've been to have been pretty uniform among the locations. All the girls were tight tank tops and really short shorts. The buffalo wings are great tho I must admit.

funny story about kids and hooters. we went there for my cousins 16th birthday and his 1 year old brother was there, and when the waitresses came over to take our order, he grabbed their boobs. this happened to about three different waitresses so, be awear that they do wear extremely short shorts and low cut tops. i'd say not a place for kids but then again, I don't have any kids so its up to you.

1) No it isn't good for children to eat there. I wouldn't want my sons to see a woman walking around half naked. Hooters is not a family oriented atmosphere.

2) If ANY b**ch climbed up on my husband's lap, I'd physically remove her and shove her paltry tip up her BUM!

I would tell my husband, eat there with the guys, but if I smell perfume, you die!
