Can your feet get smaller?

Question

I know dis prolly sounds really weird...but I think my feet R gettin smaller!! I used to wear size 7 1/2...but now it's 2 big & i wear 6 1/2. Is dis possible??

I wish. They've changed the sizing in some shops. It used to be that a women's size 8 was a eu41. Now it some shops it's a 42 which means that a 7 and a half is a 41 and a 6 is a 40. I think it's kinda mest up but it depends what shop you're in. Bring on smaller feet for all!

The only way your feet can get smaller is if you practice foot-binding, which is an incredibly painful Chinese practice which has existed for generations.

But another possible, and less excrutiating, way- different brands and style shoes. In one brand, I wear a 7, but in another, I wear a 5. On average, I wear a size 6 boot, but a 5 sandal. The heel can also change size. I had a tall heeled boot once that I had to wear in 5 1/2.

Different shoe brands have sizes that run different, that could be the cause. Or perhaps you had swelling in your feet before and now the swelling has gone down. But no, the feet do not get smaller. Generally your feet get larger as you age, they don't just stop growing.

Hon...It's the shoes! Feet don't shrink unless you are using the old form of torture called foot binding?

They can get larger however...

As the old wives tale goes: "You gain a shoe size and lose a tooth with every other pregnancy."

no your feet cant get smaller, some shoe sizes people sell aren't exactly rite so it might change your size shoe depending on the store.

No not unless you wear those really small shoes and wrap your feet tghtly in bandages like Chinese do.

I have heard of people that have lost a massive amount of weight and they went down in shoe size too.

No. There is no way that your feet can get smaller.
