I need to know what jobs that 12 year old could do to earn money. I need to know before christmas.

I have a website for kids, www.kidsjellybean.com
On occasion, I "hire" a kid to do some research or a report or something that I may put on my website. I am currently looking for someone to type up some jokes, and also some short reports on animals (adults cannot do this, it needs to be written by a kid, in words understandable to kids..That's why it's a kids website)
The animals that are up there were done by a 9 year old that I knew at the time when the site was designed.

There are no jobs like that. No one will hire a 12 year old due to child labor laws.
You could always try a volenteer job and maybe the person in charge might pay them.

yard work for neighbors, helping put up decorations, etc. Go around to some of your neighbors and tell them you are trying to earn some Christmas $$, and ask if they have any chores you could do for them.
I think it is great you are doing this, and so will some of your neighbors...not too many kids these days that want to work.

ask your neighbors if they need snow shoveled, baby sitting, snow cleaned off the car, something like that. if you're good at baking, bake some cookies, and sell 'em to your neighbors. but for goodness sakes, don't fall for one of those stupid web sites promising you money...

Its probably a little too late, but you could mow lawns durring the summer, or work for a relative.

Shovelling snow, babysitting, housecleaning, wrapping gifts, delivering flyers,/newspapers or washing cars.

Many Kids sell Candy and make a killing at it.Be careful though,Don't get caught at school.
