...married women get hit on and not tell their husbands about it? Today, my wife left for work looking hotter than she has looked in a long time. We went shopping this morning for an outfit she could wear to work and I'm glad she finally spent some money on herself, it was money well spent. But it also left me wondering how often she gets hit on by guys. She says she never does, but I can't imagine who wouldn't hit on her; I'm not a jealous husband or anything, but she loooooked good. So, how often do married women get hit on and NOT tell their husbands? Why?

It's not something I'm worried about...more of an odd thought I had. I completely trust my wife and have no worries about her fidelity, she's a good person with a pretty strong moral conviction. I was simply curious

I'm sure we get hit on more than we let our husbands know. However, sometimes its nothing more than a simple glance from a guy or a smile. We don't tell our husbands because we just like knowing that we still got what makes guys heads turn. As long as you two are faithful to one another why worry?

Usually in the work place, men dont usually hit on women anymore because of sexual harrassment.
When a man does hit on a woman it's usually at a social place or gathering. Dont worry so much about flirting.........it's harmless. If it's with someone at work, it could start off mutually harmless and lead into an attraction that leads into sexual tension.
However, If your wife loves you, and you know in your heart that she does, then be proud and happy she's with you.
BUT, on a negative side...........there are signs you can see when your other half either has a crush on someone, or the worst...........cheating. If she changes some of her habits. For example.......needs to make sure she looks great to go to work now rather than doing her average morning routine. When one might start worling out more. More irritability towards you. Working overtime more often.....etc.
Sounds as if you may be a little insecure with yourself though. Did you tell her how hot she looked?

The reason a woman might not tell her husband she was hit on becasue she doesnt want him to start worrying. Especially if she knows her husband would react the wrong way to it. Better left unsaid. Especially if she nipped it in the *** herself.

We don't tell you guys about it because we know it will only lead to you feeling jealous and then potentially not trusting us. The only time I have ever said anything to my husband was when I felt like he didn't appreciate how I looked. I wanted him to know that other guys did notice me so that maybe he would pay more attention.

I think usually people keep that stuff to themselves so that they don't cause friction in the marriage. Some people probably flirt back and others just dismiss it and don't think anything of it depending on the person. Either way I think few spouses really know how much their wives or husbands for that matter are hit on.

Make sure your wife knows how hot YOU think she is!!!

Take care....

Yeah i would not tell him unless you are trying to make him jealous or maybe trying to let him know what he is missing out on (if you are having problems and he is not being a good/faithful/caring husband) the let him know that it is not you as you can still get looks and complients from other men....you are married, but you are not dead...my fiance tells me how hot other women are, how he met some girl he knew years ago, how hot someones body is, how great that one girl looks, and so on and so forth....yet when i told him a guy told me i have beautiful eyes and a nice smile he accused me of cheating on him and then one time this one guy at work i was talking to and my fiance accused him of wanting to have sex with me and was ready to come into my work and start problems.....so i stopped telling my fiance everything because he has double standards and i do not feel like defending myself to him.....i used to be completely honest about everything and he just could not handle it....he tells me stuff about other girls and expects me to be fine with it and stuff, but i just keep my mouth shut and think what a dumbass he is being.......then i thought out of respect i should not flirt at work or talk to other guys, but then i was like why should i limit myself when he flirts in front of me and does god knows what when i am not around. So i do whatever the hell i want to and dont tell him S*it!

I get hit on but all depends how bad it is before I tell my husband. It does make some guys fell good knowing their wives get hit on My husband eats it up just for the fact he has me and they don't have a chance with me. But like I said it really aldepends on how far the guy takes it also. I don't tell him all the time cuz he is a truck driver and I don't want him upset or thinking while out there on the roads.

If she is truly attractive, it probably happens alot but on different levels. Some people are subtle about the way they do it and some are more overt. If a woman gets hit on often she will not tell her husband because she does not want to put ideas into his head.

i know my gf gets hit on all the time, the way i look at it, it gets her all horned up and good to go for the night, the others may be female body inspectors, but look and no touch, where i get the entire bag of treats

now on the other hand when a woman hits on me, my gf is the VERY jealous type and will just about rip the other woman's eyes out just for talking to me, oh well what's a guy to do

When I get hit on or flirted with, I usually don't bother telling hubby about it, since usually, it's no big deal. It's nice getting a compliment or two, but both he and I know it's not going to go anywhere. The only times I'll tell him is if it was particularly funny, or if the guy was being obnoxious.

Like the song says: When you're in love with a beautiful woman, it hard. (Dr. Hook)
I'm sure it happens a lot. Why don't they tell us about it? Because they want to avoid a negative, or at least potentially negative emotional reaction. Men are very territorial in nature, and when the male ego percieves a threat of this nature, it can serve to set the boat a' rockin'. It's probably best that we don't hear about this as often as it surely occurs. It makes for smoother sailing.

Sometime women don't notice other men checking us out. That is the honest truth - my husband tells me all the time that a guy was checking me out and I didn't notice. And if the guy was obvious, then I sometimes tell my husband and sometimes do not. I mean why mention something that didn't mean anything to me? If this guy is persuasive and persistant, I would probably mention it then....
