As long as your pc is already wireless enabled you dont have to buy anything. Just configure the router for DHCP so that your laptop is able to get an ipaddress from it. If you dont have the router thats about the only thing you need to buy. Also, if your laptop is not wireless enabled, which i doubt, then you just need to get yourself a wireless card or usb adapter.

Good Luck!

Most new laptops are equipped with built-in wireless adapters. So normally it only takes configuring your wireless connection to the one on your router. Look for a wireless button usually located above the keyboard or on the side of the laptop. Locate your wireless router in the list and click connect. If you unable to find a wireless button refer to your users manual to see if your laptop has a built in wireless adapter. You may have to purchase a wireless adapter if you have an older laptop.
Also, For security reasons you may want to research WEP or WPA security at your router website.

Make sure your wireless router is set up properly to allow your notebook to connect to your network via the router. There are a lot of different security setting choices to be made. You can allow only certain computers to hook up (based on MAC address) or you can have an encryption key or password.
