i need to know how atract more deer and turkeys to my land in s.c. i have it set aside for the protection of wildlife.what native plants would be helpful.

That's good to hear that you saved some land for wildlife! I have read that turkey like clover,cherries and blueberries.Blue berries are native to North America. They also like to eat insects of all sorts including snails and slugs. They also will eat small frogs and salamanders. Maybe you can add a small pond to your land. I have a koi pond that attracts all sorts of small birds and animals. As for the deer, they will eat lots of wild grass and will nibble on trees and fruit. I think sweet grass is native to where you live.

clover check with your local dnr office the should be able to give you a list of food plant that will grow in your area

in kentucky we use shell corn.
