I wouldn't bother. They are dangerous and have a tendancy to catch fire. It was on BBC1 WATCHDOG a couple months ago

You're gonna be struggling to buy things on the internet without using a card.
Some ebay sellers will take cheques.
Other than that, you could order some from Argos over the internet and then pay in the store when you pick them up.

if you wish that you have the genuine article,please don't scrimp and save,
if you buy new,you can register your product on www.ghdhair.com and verify the hologram sticker for authenticity,
that way if anything goes wrong to your ghd`s you can send them back within the year and they replace them for free,as i did..got a new pair in 7 days,if you buy from ebay,you are not guaranteed they are genuine

you can get them from littlewoods/Kay`s/Marshall ward and premierman has a pair in.you get them on approval and they send you a statement then you can pay by cheque or a bank .
