I'm only 9,i'm getting my new hamster,it's my first one ! This is what i need to know bout,
How ofen do i feed him?
how many times to i change his cage?
i got him a cage already (no i didnt buy him yet)
his cage has tubes everywhere (outside the cage) is that ok?
how many days deos it take him to get to know me?

first of all the pet store you buy it from will help you and answer all of your questions. You keep food & water in the cage at all times. you should change his cage everyday or it will smell. To get him to know you, you put your hand it the cage, fingers not sticking out. Do this for a few days, Then let him smell you. Take your time but once he is use to you & your not hurting him he will let you touch him & he won't bite. then after a while he will let you pick him up. Just don't stick your hand in the cage & try to grab him or he will bite you & yes, it hurts. Just take it slow & you will have a great pet. Just make sure he doesn't get loose or you will loose a pet.
