Sorry, could not resist.

As 24carat gold is pure Gold it will be the most expensive. 1 carat Gold would mean only 1 part in 24 would be Gold. So if you had a 1 carat Gold item weighing say 24 grams only 1 gram of it would actually be Gold.
Being picky though, if the other element mixed with the Gold was something like Platinum your 1 Carat "Gold" would be worth more than 24 carat Gold. But really that would be 23carat Platinum.

24 karat gold is pure gold and very malleable.the higher the gold content the more expensive it is. In America the standard for jewelry is 10k or 14k. Anything less than that can't be called gold. 14k means there are 14 parts gold and 10 parts other base metals. 18k means 18 parts gold and 6 parts other metals to equal 24.

the higher the carat the more pure the gold. Just remeber that gold is a very soft metal so u need some aloys added to give it substance. 18 is harder than 24 and the difference in price is barely noticable.

just so you know even though 24 karat is more expensive that means it has more gold in it. Gold is a soft element and so the more gold you have in it (this is what the karat signifies) the more likely your jewelry will scratch or bend.

I like to wear a elaborate Jar Jar Binks costume and mask as part of my every day life. I went to the grocery store, and saw how depressed everyone was so I thought I would help. I started dancing in the aisles, and yelling at people, and running up to people and taking things out of their cart. It was great fun. Then when I went to check out, there was only one lane open and a long line. I screamed and screamed while in line and danced, bumping into other people. I opened a box of baking soda and threw it around. Finally I got to the checkout. I started making noises at the cashier, and I kept pressing buttons on the computer. Some people in line were groaning because the line was getting very long, but that gave me even more incentive to make them laugh. I climbed onto the table and started kicking peoples groceries on the floor and singing. The manager and one of his goons pulled me off and said I could never shop there again. Can I sue for harrasement or possibly assualt?
