i like experimenting with nuts on the same time as baking. i like walnuts in carrot or banana loaves, hazelnuts in Russian tea cookies, peanut M&M's in cookies (that is super!), and cashews or pecans on truffles. Walnuts or pine nuts are additionally super while mixed into rooster stuffing.

I like those too Sunny but for some reason I always think of sugar cookies...we would take these Christmas shaped cutters and then sprinkle multicolored sugar on top...ahhh I think I will make a batch! thanks!

i dont think it is considered a cookie, but i love baklava...i find it more often around the holidays unless i visit an ethnic shop....
