hello, whats the highest mountain in the states? thats America thats USA my friend says mount kimberly is that right?

Your friend is right, Mount McKinley in Alaska is the highest. In the 48 states, it's Mount Whitney in California.

Scythian1 is correct. Mount McKinley in Alaska is the highest mountain in the United States. In the 48 states, it's Mount Whitney in California. I might just add that Mount McKinley is now often referred to as Denali, however, both names are correct.

Mount McKinley or Denali in Alaska is the highest mountain peak in North America, at a height of approximately 20,320 feet (6,194 metres)[1]. It is the centerpiece of Denali National Park. The mountain was also known as Bolshaya Gora (Большая Гора) in Russian.

Entire US: Mt. Mckinley in Denali National park and commonly takes the name of the park. It is in Alaska.
