Just purchased a board game called Perplexcity from Game Preserve Store.
I spoke to the manager at the store specifically about this topic you mentioned ..the language problem....there are 5 categories with the game and one is language...so everyone will be challenged it is a brain game...looks like fun.
Whatever game you play there will be problems unless there are instructions in the language they speak as well.
Jenga is a game that could work for you...good luck

I brought Scattergories to a weeklong family reunion this summer and it was such a hit! It is played by writing words that start with a certain letter that fall into a certain category. But the rules are very lenient. For example Letter: N Cat:Things in a classroom Nerdy boy acceptable answer. If you only know some English you can come up with creative answers. You would probably want to up the time limit. Maybe let the buzzer go off twice instead of once. Over Thanksgiving we played Rumicub and some dice game that involved keeping 1's and 5's and they were both very fun. And didn't require English.

i'm no longer confident on the precise regulations of this sport. even with the undeniable fact that the conception of this sport is there's a modern-day for each body positioned on a table. you may wrap them or leave some unwrapped. and anybody attracts an excellent decision. then you definitely commence with #a million. That individual is going to the table and selections a present. The second individual receives to both bypass to the table to %. a present or takes a present from someone. If someone takes someone elses present that individual is going decrease back to the table to make your thoughts up on a special present. You attempt this till eventually anybody selections a present. The presents frequently decision from completely goofy like a puppy toy or a %. of TP to some thing sensible like a toaster or electric powered can opener. you opt for a sort of presents yet no longer some thing quite severe priced. And it finally ends up being particularly humorous human beings procuring and promoting presents because they imagine someone elses present will be extra perfect than what they were given or they imagine that the perfect present is the great field. and then seeing anybody unwrap what they were given is particularly relaxing.

I had some Chinese people come over to eat dinner and play games. Uno is the game that I taught them and they loved it. I also eventually taught them yahtzee and backgammon, but their favorite was Uno. They even went and bought their own UNO cards.

Crranium contains a lot of American Culture references so it might be too difficult in your case. How about balderdash? It's a blast and language shouldn't be much of a barrier
